AIIMS Gorakhpur Faculty Vacancy Details

Age Limit (as on 26-10-2025)

Age and all other qualifications will be counted as on the closing date of application i.e., 26/10/2025.

Professor/Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 (Fifty-Eight) years as on closing date.
Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 (Fifty) years as on closing date.
Upper age limit shall be determined as on last date of submission of online application.
No age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
As per Govt. of India rules.

Application Fee

Application fee for General/OBC/EWS category Rs. 2,000/-
For SC/ST category Rs. 500/- is required to be remitted using online mode
Any other instrument of payment is not acceptable.
The Application fee is nonrefundable.
For, Retired Faculty (applying on contract basis), those applying for the post on Deputation basis and PwD category the application fee is exempted.

Eligibility Criteria

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized under the India Medical Council (IMC) Act, 1956 or by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for practice of medicine in India.
A Postgraduate qualification MD or MS (recognized under the IMC Act, #1956 or by the NMC) or qualifications recognized by the NMC as being equivalent thereto for employment as a Teacher in a Medical Institution.
D.M. or M. Ch (recognized under the IMC Act, #1956 or by the NMC) OR qualifications recognized by the NMC as being equivalent thereto for employment as a Teacher in a Medical Institution.
The qualifying degree must be in the subject of the post.
