Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) from a recognized board

Salary
- The SSC MTS salary structure is based on the 7th Pay Commission recommendations:
- Basic Pay: ₹18,000 per month
- Pay Scale: ₹5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay ₹1,800
- Gross Salary: ₹23,000 – ₹26,000 per month
- In-Hand Salary: ₹16,915 – ₹20,245 per month (after deductions)
