• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age limit: 47 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

• 10+2 with 50% marks or Senior Secondary with 50% marks from а recognized Board of School Education and 2 years Junior Basic (JBT) Teacher’s course/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) from an institute affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE).
• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) (by whatever name known).
• Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and 2 years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure ) Regulations, 2002.
• Senior Secondary- with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.).
• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
• Graduation and 2 years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) (by whatever name known)
• Post Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three years integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.
• Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) duly conducted by H.P. Board of School Education Dharamshala, Distt Kangra or any other Agency authorized by the Government.

• Rs. 17820/- per month {which shall be 60% (Sixty percent) of the first cell of the applicable level of the pay Matrix of the corresponding cadre} as per H.P. Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2022.
