• A degree in Printing Technology in offset printing or letter press printing of a statutory university;
• A diploma in Prinitng Technology in offset printing or letter press printing of a recognised institution;
• A certificate in Typography (Printing) granted by any recognised Institution;
• A certificate of National Apprenticeship in printing;
• A certificate of a completion of 4 years Departmental Apprenticeship;
• Any other qualification declared by Government to be equivalent to any of the above qualifications.
• Have a thorough knowledge of type faces, hand composition, monotype and linotype composing, letter press printing machines, different types of binding and working knowledge of various photo litho and photo engraving processes;
• Have a thorough knowledge (theoretical and practical) of photo litho, plate making, offset printing and photo engraving with a working knowledge of letter press printing operations;
